Job summary

Arlec in Melbourne is seeking a Buying & Product Coordinator to support day-to-day buying and product development. You’ll work with suppliers, factories and internal teams to bring new products to market and keep ranges up to date.

Ideal candidates have experience in buying, procurement, product coordination, merchandising or supply chain, are organised, commercially minded and capable of handling multiple projects. Pronto experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in buying, procurement, product coordination, merchandising or supply chain.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communication and ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel; Pronto experience would be advantageous.
• Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly in China.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Buying Manager.
• Assist with product development, range updates, samples and supplier coordination.
• Obtain supplier quotations, compare costs and support pricing reviews.
• Coordinate product launches and maintain accurate product data across Pronto and GS1.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to monitor production schedules, resolve quality issues and implement product improvements.
