Job summary

Baxter is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to support manufacturing operations across Australia and New Zealand, driving sourcing and supplier management for MRO and Capex. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver value, manage RFQs and contracts, and lead cost-saving initiatives across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Experience across MRO, Facilities Management, Engineering Services or Capex procurement.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and contract management capability.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to implement category strategies and deliver value.
• Manage RFQs, RFIs and RFPs from market engagement through supplier selection and award.
• Conduct spend analysis, supplier benchmarking and market assessments.
• Lead the commercial review, negotiation, execution and ongoing management of supplier contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive improvements in cost, quality, service and delivery.
• Provide regular category, project pipeline and savings updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain sourcing pipeline records and expected benefits.
• Support annual savings plans by identifying sourcing opportunities.
• Partner with suppliers and internal teams to identify innovation and continuous improvement.
