Job summary

Baxter is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to support manufacturing operations across Australia and New Zealand, leading sourcing and supplier management for MRO and Capex categories. You will partner with stakeholders to enable cost, quality, and supplier performance improvements.

Reporting to the Senior Lead Specialist within Baxter’s Indirect Procurement team, you will drive end-to-end sourcing, negotiate contracts, and deliver best-value outcomes across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Experience across MRO, Facilities Management, Engineering Services or Capex procurement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to implement category strategies and deliver value.
• Manage RFQs, RFIs and RFPs from market engagement through supplier selection and award.
• Conduct spend analysis, supplier benchmarking and market assessments.
• Lead the commercial review, negotiation, execution and ongoing management of supplier contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive improvements in cost, quality, service and delivery.
• Provide regular category and savings updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Maintain sourcing pipeline records and project status with expected benefits.
