Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Experience across MRO, Facilities Management, Engineering Services or Capex procurement.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and contract management capability.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and engaging cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and translate opportunities into practical sourcing outcomes.
• Confidence working in a matrix, multicultural and virtual team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and sourcing initiatives.
• Experience in a multinational organization and exposure to MSAs, SOWs, Amendments and NDAs will be highly regarded.
• Experience using procurement systems such as Coupa, Ariba, JDE or similar platforms will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to implement category strategies and deliver short-, medium- and long-term value pipeline goals.
• Manage RFQs, RFIs and RFPs from market engagement through supplier selection and award.
• Conduct spend analysis, supplier benchmarking and market assessments to identify value opportunities.
• Lead the commercial review, negotiation, execution and ongoing management of supplier contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, Engineering Services Agreements, Supply Agreements, Amendments and NDAs.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive improvements in cost, quality, service and delivery.
• Provide regular category, project pipeline and savings updates to stakeholders, category leads and senior management.
• Maintain sourcing pipeline records, including project status, expected benefits and savings outcomes.
• Support annual savings plans by identifying and delivering sourcing, supplier and process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with suppliers and internal teams to identify innovation, market insights and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with Baxter policies and governance requirements.
