Job summary

Breight Group in Rivervale, Western Australia, is seeking a Procurement Officer to support purchasing and supply across Maintenance, Shutdown and Projects operations. You will coordinate procurement activities, manage purchase orders, source quotations and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

The role involves collaboration with operations teams to keep sites stocked and running safely.

Qualifications

Experience in procurement, purchasing or similar supply function.
Experience in mining, resources, construction, maintenance or projects is valuable.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfort negotiating with suppliers and managing stakeholder expectations.
Commercial awareness and focus on value, service and delivery.

Responsibilities

Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, consumables and services across operations and projects.
Raise and manage purchase orders from request to delivery.
Source quotations and compare supplier pricing.
Communicate with suppliers about availability, lead times, pricing and delivery requirements.
Expedite orders and identify potential supply delays, escalating as needed.
Collaborate with Operations, Projects, Maintenance and other stakeholders to forecast needs.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier data.
Assist with supplier onboarding and compliance documentation.
