Job summary

Bouygues Construction Australia is hiring a Procurement Coordinator to oversee the purchasing activities across civil infrastructure, engineering, and energy projects. You will manage sourcing, tendering, vendor relations, contracts, and invoicing in collaboration with the Logistics and Plant teams.

The role reports to the Procurement and Plant Warehouse & Spare Parts Manager, supporting compliance and data management while driving efficient procurement across interstate operations.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in purchasing, or administration.
• Understanding of the specific mechanical and electrical spare and wear parts used in the project and knowledge of the overseas and interstate suppliers and the contracts in place
• Understanding of the typology of the tunnelling works, disciplines and the specific plant under the scope of the Plant & logistics Organization.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Tendering: Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents, find synergies and standardise needs where possible to source widely.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, monitor performance against metrics.
• Procurement: Day-to-day procurement of goods and services for the Warehouse and Logistics team.
• Compliance: Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies and government frameworks.
