Job summary

Evolution Mining in West Wyalong, NSW, invites a Process Operator to maintain safe, reliable processing plant operations across crushing, grinding, flotation and leaching. Your role supports the mill team, delivering consistent gold production while upholding our safety standards and operational discipline.

You'll work on a 7/7 residential roster, gain exposure to multiple processing circuits, and contribute to continuous improvement, with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a processing plant/mining or heavy industry environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational discipline.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience monitoring process performance and responding to operational issues.
• Competent with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritise work and follow procedures.
• Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe, reliable and continuous gold production outcomes.
• Operate processing plant circuits including crushing, grinding, flotation and leaching.
• Monitor plant performance and processing parameters to maintain targets.
• Respond to process deviations and equipment issues to minimise downtime.
• Support plant isolations, shutdown activities and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate log sheets and deliver effective shift handovers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and performance.

Step into a role where your contribution directly impacts gold production. As a Process Operator, you'll play an essential role in keeping Cowal's processing plant operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping deliver the gold that drives our success.

This is a residential opportunity based in West Wyalong, NSW, offering a family friendly 7/7 roster. Whether you're an experienced Process Operator or looking to further develop your processing career, you'll gain exposure across crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching and control room operations while working in a supportive team environment.

Working as part of a highly skilled Processing team, you'll build broad operational capability while contributing to a safe and high-performing operation.

Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you'll:

• Contribute to safe, reliable and continuous gold production outcomes.
• Operate processing plant circuits including crushing, grinding, flotation and leaching.
• Monitor plant performance and processing parameters to maintain operational targets.
• Respond to process deviations and equipment issues to minimise downtime.
• Support plant isolations, shutdown activities and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate log sheets and deliver effective shift handovers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency and performance.

• Ability to prioritise work, make sound operational decisions and follow procedures.
• Australian Driver's Licence.

Highly regarded but not essential:

• Previous gold processing plant experience.
• Experience operating or monitoring DCS systems.
• Certificate III in Metalliferous Mining or Resource Processing.
• Exposure to crushing, grinding, flotation or leaching circuits.
