Job summary

A career opportunity in Sydney for a Private Capital Fund Accounting Assistant Manager within a global asset services environment. You will provide high-quality accounting and reporting support to alternative investment fund clients, including Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Private Credit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a fund accounting or similar role, ideally within Private Equity investments.
• Experience with eFront Invest and strong knowledge of fund accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual financial reports and statements for alternative investment funds – Private Equity, HF and Private Credit / Debt.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Liaise with fund managers, administrators, and other stakeholders to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Assist with the implementation of new funds, including setting up accounting systems and processes.
• Mentor and guide more junior team members, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry regulations and accounting standards, implementing changes as needed.
• Support the preparation of client presentations and respond to ad‑hoc requests.
