Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of VPs and fund accounting professionals
  
• Oversee fund accounting delivery across a private assets client portfolio, ensuring timelines, quality standards and client expectations are met
  
• Act as a trusted senior contact for clients, building long-term relationships and understanding their operating and reporting needs
  
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality
  
• Work with internal and external stakeholders, including offshore teams and client finance functions, to ensure smooth service delivery
  
• Contribute to process improvement and operational initiatives, including the practical adoption of AI and automation tools
  
• Support business development, including client meetings, pitches and presentations

About You

• Experience: 12+ years in private assets fund accounting, ideally with exposure to private credit
• Leadership: a track record of leading and developing teams in a fund administration or financial services environment
• Client focus: strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging senior client stakeholders
• Language: Mandarin speaking is highly advantageous
• Qualifications: a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline; CA, CPA or equivalent (completed or in progress) is advantageous
• Well organised, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a structured way
• A collaborative leadership style and a genuine interest in developing others
