• 5+ years of experience in a fund accounting or similar role, ideally within Private Equity investments.
• Experience with eFront Invest and strong knowledge of fund accounting principles.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual financial reports and statements for alternative investment funds – Private Equity, HF and Private Credit / Debt.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Liaise with fund managers, administrators, and other stakeholders to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Assist with the implementation of new funds, including setting up accounting systems and processes.
• Mentor and guide more junior team members, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry regulations and accounting standards, implementing changes as needed.
• Support the preparation of client presentations and respond to ad‑hoc requests.

This full-time, Sydney-based role will see you providing high-quality accounting and reporting support to their alternative investment fund clients.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual financial reports and statements for alternative investment funds – Private Equity, HF and Private Credit / Debt

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in a fund accounting or similar role, ideally within the Private Equity investments sector
• eFront invest system experience is highly preferred
• Thorough understanding of fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Experience in supervising and developing more junior team members
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
