Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Presales Solution Architect – Microsoft Fabric, Data & AI to join our ANZ team in Australia. You will blend technical presales, solution design, and commercial insight to win opportunities with Microsoft, partners, and internal teams.

You will shape architectures, craft compelling business cases, and support partner-led engagements to accelerate Data & AI growth across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical presales, architecture, consulting, or customer-facing tech roles.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and related Data & AI technologies.
• Experience supporting partner-led, channel-focused, or indirect sales motions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop Microsoft Fabric, Data & AI opportunities aligned to customer needs.
• Design secure, scalable architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and AI tech.
• Deliver workshops, demos, PoC engagements to showcase Data, Analytics, and AI value.
• Develop Statements of Work, effort estimates, solution scopes, and commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with Microsoft, partners, sales, and delivery teams to build pipeline and growth.
• Translate business challenges into practical Data & AI outcomes for customers.

As a Presales Solution Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to partners and customers, helping them identify opportunities, shape technical solutions, and build compelling business cases around Microsoft Fabric and modern Data & AI platforms. You will play a critical role in developing scalable architectures, supporting presales engagements, and enabling partners to successfully position and deliver Data & AI solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with partners to identify, qualify, and develop Microsoft Fabric, Data & AI opportunities aligned to customer business needs.
• Designing secure, scalable, and commercially viable architectures leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Microsoft AI technologies, and modern analytics platforms.
• Delivering workshops, assessments, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements that showcase the value of Data, Analytics, and AI solutions.
• Developing Statements of Work, effort estimates, solution scopes, technical proposals, and commercial recommendations to support successful project delivery.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Data & AI technologies, modern analytics platforms, and cloud-native data architectures.
• Experience supporting partner-led, channel-focused, or indirect sales motions within the technology ecosystem.
• Proven ability to develop technical proposals, Statements of Work, solution scopes, effort estimates, and services-led engagements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and business decision-makers.
• Passion for helping organizations leverage data and AI to achieve measurable business outcomes.
