Job summary

The Mulberry Group is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to oversee daily operations at one of its Melbourne venues. You will lead front-of-house teams, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

In this role you will recruit and train staff, monitor service standards, and collaborate with kitchen and beverage teams to deliver a cohesive dining experience while complying with food, safety and licensing regulations. Full-time role in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of hospitality management experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience managing budgets and labour costs.
• Knowledge of food, wine and beverage service.
• Familiarity with food safety and workplace safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily venue operations to ensure exceptional service standards.
• Recruit, train, develop and supervise front-of-house employees.
• Manage labour budgets, rostering, inventory and operational costs.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, occupational health and safety, and liquor licensing requirements.
