Private Advertiser is seeking an accomplished General Manager to oversee a cluster of premium hospitality venues in Melbourne's CBD. The role requires strategic leadership across diverse concepts, aligning each venue's identity with guest expectations while driving performance and standards across the portfolio.

You will work closely with venue managers and culinary leaders to optimise financial results, elevate service, and build a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Group General Manager or senior multi-venue operator.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving financial performance across multiple venues.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop venue management teams.
• Deep understanding of premium hospitality standards and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple venues within a close-knit CBD portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and consistent standards.
• Take ownership of financial results across the collection, including P&L management, budgets, forecasting, labour costs and profitability.
• Lead, mentor and develop venue managers and senior teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Champion exceptional hospitality across every concept, ensuring each venue aligns with its positioning.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Build management capability and develop a pipeline of future hospitality leaders.
• Ensure compliance across food safety, workplace health and safety, and employment obligations.
• Encourage collaboration while preserving the individuality of each offering.
