Job summary

Hospitality Recruits seeks an experienced General Manager for a premium hospitality venue in Melbourne CBD. You will lead the venue, inspire the team and drive operational excellence, profitability and outstanding customer service.

This hands-on leader must navigate a busy city venue, ensuring revenue growth, cost control and guest satisfaction. You will oversee operations, manage rostering and labour costs, and maintain high standards across service, cleanliness and guest experience, while

Qualifications

Hands-on hospitality leadership experience
Commercially driven with strong financial acumen
Proven ability to drive profitability and guest service excellence
Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
Knowledge of WHS, food safety, liquor licensing and employment requirements

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of a premium hospitality venue to deliver exceptional hospitality and guest experiences.
Lead the management team, develop a high-performing culture, and ensure service standards meet financial and operational objectives.
Drive revenue growth and manage costs, budgets, forecasts and KPIs to achieve sustainable profitability.
Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency, consistency and profitability.
Recruit, train, mentor and retain department managers and frontline staff; set performance expectations and pathways for development.
