Job summary

Darling Group in Melbourne is seeking a Venue Manager to lead one of our venues end to end, shaping guest experiences and building a team that loves hospitality.

This role blends leadership, commercial thinking and genuine hospitality, with real ownership of how your venue runs and performs. You’ll lead daily operations, mentor supervisors, drive training, manage rostering, stock and compliance, and own the venue’s profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in premium, fast-paced dining or events.
• Ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong knowledge of rostering, inventory and service delivery.
• Commercial acumen with budgets, KPIs and profitability.
• Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
• Available weekends/holidays with RSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your venue and its floor team.
• Own service standards and the guest experience end-to-end.
• Coach and mentor supervisors and assistant managers.
• Drive training and development across the team.
• Manage rostering, labour, stock and compliance.
• Own your venue's financial performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate with the Darling Group on local activity and opportunities.

As a Venue Manager, you’ll lead one of our venues end to end, shaping the experience of every guest and building a team that loves what they do. It’s a role that blends leadership, commercial thinking and genuine hospitality, with real ownership of how your venue runs and performs.

In the role you will:

• Lead the day-to-day running of your venue and its floor team
