Job summary

An established Australian premium spirits business seeks an experienced Venue Manager to lead one of its vibrant venues on Sydney's Northern Beaches. You will own day-to-day operations, lead the team, manage rosters and P&L, and deliver the drinks and food offering with events and programming that come to life.

This hands-on, high-ownership role rewards commercial focus, organisation, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving ongoing commercial success.

Qualifications

• Proven venue, bar or restaurant management experience.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Excellent rostering and labour management skills.
• Experience delivering events and revenue-driving activations.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• RSA certification is mandatory.
• Craft spirits or drinks experience advantageous.
• Passion for hospitality and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day venue operations and P&L
• Recruit, lead and develop the team
• Manage rosters, labour costs and compliance
• Oversee suppliers and venue standards
• Deliver exceptional food, drinks and guest experiences
• Drive revenue through events, activations and programming
• Champion the premium spirits portfolio
• Work closely with marketing and senior leadership
• Track performance and provide regular reporting
