The Wine Bar at The International in Sydney is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead a high-volume premium venue at scale. You will work with the GM and Sommelier team to deliver luxury service, manage VIP reservations, and drive staff development across front-of-house.

Qualifications

• The role requires the ability to lead a premium venue at scale and manage a high-performing front-of-house team.
• Demonstrated experience in labour cost control, stock variation, and profitability.
• Strong communication skills with corporate, tourist and industry guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-volume floor operations across indoor dining, counter seating, and outdoor plaza.
• Maintain luxury service standards aligned with a Sydney CBD landmark.
• Collaborate with Sommelier team to execute an award-winning wine program.
• Manage guest flow and VIP reservations using premium booking systems.
• Recruit, onboard and mentor front-of-house staff; foster wine knowledge and upsell.
