Job summary

Vertiv Co in Australia (Sydney) seeks a pre-sales solutions engineer to support the ANZ market for critical power infrastructure. The role focuses on applying Vertiv Power products, with approved third-party services, to meet customer requirements and drive successful bids.

You will collaborate with sales to develop technical offers, review RFQ documentation, and prepare costed proposals. The position emphasizes profitability analysis, on-time delivery, and ongoing product training.

Qualifications

• Electrical Power Engineering qualification.
• Experience with design and applications of power infrastructure solutions, esp. Busway, in mission-critical environments.
• Provide sales staff with technical assistance & support information on Busway & other power solutions to assist with sales activity.
• Review RFQ documentation (technical specifications, wiring schematics, floorplan layouts).
• Prepare formal offers with compliance statements, single line drawings and costing schedules; BOM itemization.
• Source third-party quotes to support offers; complete profitability analysis and manage product delivery for new/established products.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support to sales teams.
• Review RFQ documents and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Prepare quotations with BOMs and costing schedules; source quotes from third parties.
• Coordinate delivery and design for non-established products.
• Undertake product training and deliver solution presentations as directed.
