Job summary

Lifeline Healthcare Group in Romsey, VIC, is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team. You will provide high-quality nursing care, health assessments, wound management, and immunisations within a patient-centred primary care setting.

The ideal candidate will have AHPRA registration, at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Best Practice software.

Responsibilities

Lifeline Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join their team in Romsey, VIC. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care and support to patients within our medical practice. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health assessments, administering medication, coordinating referrals and follow-ups
• Assisting with the management of chronic conditions and the implementation of treatment plans
• Providing health education and promoting preventative care to patients
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical practice protocols
• Collaborating with the medical team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care
• Undertaking a range of administrative duties to support the smooth running of the practice

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Australian work rights are mandatory for this position
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting
• Strong clinical skills, including experience in health assessments, wound management, and medication administration
• Immunisation administration experience is essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in using medical software and technology to support patient care
• Experience with Best Practice medical software system is preferred
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and a genuine interest in contributing to the overall wellbeing of the community
