Key Health St Leonards is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join our team, with options for part-time (4 days) or full-time (5 days). Located near St Leonards Train Station, the role centers on delivering high-quality clinical care within a supportive general practice, closely collaborating with doctors to ensure safe, patient-centred services.

You will perform immunisations, wound care, health assessments and triage, support chronic disease management, maintain patient records, and uphold

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse).
• Current CPR certification.
• Current professional indemnity insurance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in general practice or primary healthcare is desirable.
• Experience in chronic disease management and health assessments is desirable.
• Familiarity with Best Practice software.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical care in line with professional and safety standards.
• Perform immunisations, wound care, health assessments and triage.

Practice Nurse | Key Health St Leonards

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Practice Nurse to join our team at Key Health St Leonards either part time (4 days) or full time (5 days). Conveniently located close to St Leonards Train Station and Lane Cove Metro.

In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical care within a supportive general practice environment, working closely with doctors and the wider team to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Practice Nurse, your duties will include:
• Providing clinical care in line with professional and safety standards
• Conducting immunisations, wound care, health assessments, and triage
• Supporting chronic disease management and preventative health initiatives
• Assisting doctors with procedures and clinical tasks
• Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Ensuring infection control procedures and policies are followed
• Managing clinical equipment, supplies, and treatment rooms
• Supporting quality improvement activities and practice accreditation
• Educating patients on health management, treatments, and preventative care
• Supporting and guiding other staff as required

About You

You are a proactive and organised nurse who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and maintaining high safety standards.

Essential:

• Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse)
• Current CPR certification
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable:

• Experience in general practice or primary healthcare
