Job summary

Myhealth Dandenong is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to drive operational excellence in a busy general practice. The role focuses on leading a team, coordinating day-to-day operations, and delivering high-quality patient care within a collaborative environment.

You will partner with lead clinicians, oversee scheduling and training, and manage staff inductions while promoting a positive, patient-centric culture. A proactive, detail-oriented leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in GP medical reception or practice management
• Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
• A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations

About The Role

We are looking for a friendly and ambitious Practice Manager to join our well-established general practice Myhealth Dandenong, located centrally in Dandenong Plaza. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager looking to join a fabulous team, or for an experienced 2IC within GP ready to take that next step. As a Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence while creating a supportive, team-driven environment. A Day In The Life
