Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead our Ringwood Medical Centre. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, support a multidisciplinary team, and drive service excellence while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

We're looking for an experienced healthcare leader with strong people leadership, operational management, and a patient-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare management or leadership
• Strong people leadership and team development
• Experience in customer service, administration, and operational management
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare compliance (desirable)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice management systems
• Qualification in Business Administration or Practice Management (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting administrative and clinical support teams
• Managing staffing, recruitment, onboarding, and performance development
• Coordinating rosters to meet operational and patient demand requirements
• Driving operational excellence through process improvements
• Monitoring centre performance and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives
• Promoting a patient-first culture focused on exceptional customer service
• Building strong relationships with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and key stakeholders
• Supporting quality improvement and accreditation activities
• Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Managing incidents, investigations, and corrective actions
• Collaborating with Regional and National Leaders on key initiatives and projects

The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager to lead our Ringwood Medical Centre.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, supporting a multidisciplinary team, and driving operational excellence while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Your Responsibilities

As the Practice Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of the medical centre by:

• Leading and supporting administrative and clinical support teams

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and practice management systems
• Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare compliance requirements (desirable)
• Qualification in Business Administration or Practice Management (preferred)
