Job summary

Suncoast Health Centre on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join the team three days per week. You will lead daily operations, mentor the admin team, coordinate rostering and recruitment, and ensure Medicare and compliance are sound as the practice grows.

You’ll work with leaders who value collaboration, flexibility and practical solutions, shaping workflows, onboarding, and staff development to deliver a positive patient and staff experience.

Avant Practice Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Suncoast Health Centre, an established mixed billing general practice on the Sunshine Coast looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join the team three days per week.

The practice is accredited, well established and supported by a committed team of clinicians, allied health professionals and administration staff. What they're looking for now, is someone who can bring structure, consistency and leadership as the practice continues to grow.

Someone who understands that practice management is rarely just about systems and compliance. It's about people. It's about helping a busy team work well together, creating clear processes, solving problems before they become frustrations and supporting an environment where both staff and patients have a positive experience.

A practice with plans, not problems

Suncoast Health Centre is home to nine GPs and a growing allied health team, including physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics and specialist services. The practice is preparing for further growth, with new practitioners joining, additional consulting rooms being added and Saturday services returning.

The incoming Practice Manager will play an important role in helping the practice navigate this next chapter.

That might mean refining workflows, supporting recruitment and onboarding, building accountability around established processes, improving communication across the team, or helping staff feel confident during periods of change.

You'll have the opportunity to influence how the practice operates while working alongside leaders who value collaboration, flexibility and practical solutions.
