Job summary

World Vision Australia is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Reporting Analyst to lead data organisation and the creation of dashboards and reports using Power BI. The role collaborates with multiple teams to ensure consistent data usage for financial insight and decision-making.

You will be the power user for BI tools, delivering analytics, supporting data-driven improvements, and contributing to global reporting initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or similar.
• Minimum 3 years specialised Analytics experience in a service org or NGO.
• Solid understanding of finance systems, financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications (CRM and ERP).
• Experience leading initiatives or has team leadership aspirations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced experience with SQL Server for data analysis, modelling and reconciliation.
• Experience with database development including Views, Stored Procedures, query optimisation techniques, triggers and variables.
• Experience building Power BI reports with good design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead in organising data and designing/building World Vision’s dashboards and reports.
• Be the power user of the organisation’s BI tool (Power BI) and deliver support, analysis, reporting and advice on data.
• Collaborate with Performance Reporting, Enterprise Services, Technology and Fundraising teams.
• Translate business information needs into clearly defined dashboards and reports.
• Contribute to World Vision International global reporting initiatives as needed.
