Job summary

ChildFund Australia is seeking a Data Insights Specialist to turn supporter and program data into trusted information that teams rely on to raise funds, understand performance and drive decisions. You will own recurring reporting, data quality, and reconciliation processes while delivering dashboards in Power BI.

You will gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders, write clear data products and documentation, and work with cross-functional teams to maintain secure, well-documented data

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with multi-step transformations.
• Experience building Power BI reports and data modelling.
• Demonstrated accuracy in reconciling figures and validating outputs.
• Experience gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivery, validation and monitoring of recurring reporting.
• Prepare campaign data selections and produce forecasts.
• Build, maintain and improve Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Validate outputs and investigate discrepancies before distribution.
• Gather requirements and turn into clear, well-scoped data products.
• Explain data trends and write user guides and documentation.
