Job summary

Cross Sphere Partners is seeking a Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst to establish and operate its Australian information-management and management-reporting function in Sydney. You will collect, organise, validate and analyse customer, payment, financial and operational data to deliver reliable insights.

You will develop KPI frameworks, dashboards and forecasting procedures, translating complex information into actionable recommendations for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BI, information management or reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel and experience with BI/ERP/CRM systems.
• Experience coordinating information across finance, payments, CRM and operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; convert data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Desirable qualification in business, information management, data analytics, statistics or accounting.
• Experience with digital financial and payment platforms; Genome/Celesta valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection, organisation, validation and processing of data to produce reliable BI.
• Analyse engagement, retention, transactions and patterns to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare customer-insight reports covering KPIs, seasonal trends and performance.
• Develop KPI dashboards and automated Excel reports to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Undertake forecasting, budgeting support, variance analysis and reconciliation of transactions.
• Investigate data inconsistencies and establish corrective controls with relevant teams.
• Translate complex information into clear commercial recommendations for management.
• Document and improve data-governance and reporting procedures.
