Job summary

Hamilton Island Enterprises is seeking an experienced Porter Supervisor to lead our Porter operations at Reef View Hotel on Hamilton Island. You will oversee luggage handling, arrivals and departures and ensure professional guest service in a busy resort environment.

You’ll work closely with the Front Office Manager, coordinate daily movements, train new Porters and uphold safety and service standards to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in hospitality or hotel settings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor teams.
• Strong guest-focused service mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Porter operations and supervise the Porter team.
• Coordinate luggage handling, arrivals and departures to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain safety, vehicle and equipment standards and drive operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Front Office Manager to deliver consistent guest service from arrival to departure.
• Train and onboard new Porters and support ongoing staff development.
