Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced PMO Support Officer to assist a key project implementing a new Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system in Melbourne. This 12-week contract role focuses on data cleansing, migration preparation and validation.

You will support transition activities, review project records for data quality, and help configure and test the new PPM platform. You’ll map governance processes to the new system and contribute to stage-gating and project health reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in PMO, project office or governance environment.
• Experience supporting project and portfolio reporting and governance processes.
• Understanding of project lifecycle management and governance principles.
• Experience supporting system implementation, transformation or business improvement projects.
• Experience developing or improving business processes.
• Victorian Government or broader public sector experience advantageous.
• Experience with PPM systems and Power BI dashboard/report development is highly desirable.

You will ideally bring:

• Previous experience working within a PMO, project office or project governance environment.
• Experience supporting project and portfolio reporting and governance processes.
• Good understanding of project lifecycle management and project governance principles.
• Experience supporting a system implementation, transformation or business improvement project.
• Experience developing or improving business processes.
• Victorian Government or broader public sector experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with PPM systems and Power BI dashboard/report development is highly desirable.
