Job summary

Talent in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Project Officer – PMO to support a major digital transformation for a Victorian public sector organisation. You will provide project coordination, governance and administrative support within the PMO, helping to deliver complex technology projects from planning through delivery.

Based in Burwood with a hybrid working arrangement, this 3-month contract offers exposure to governance documentation, dashboards, risks and issues registers, and

Qualifications

• Experienced in project officer, project coordinator or PMO support roles within complex environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance processes and delivery lifecycle.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence and Smartsheet for project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver complex technology projects in a PMO environment.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports and dashboards.
• Maintain project registers including risks, issues, decisions and dependencies.
• Coordinate meetings/workshops and stakeholder communications.
