Job summary

Yusen Logistics seeks two Inventory Controllers for the Northampton warehouse, working Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00. These are full-time, permanent roles in the UK.

You will maintain stock records, perform regular counts, investigate discrepancies and support stocktakes while driving improvements across the inventory function with a strong focus on accuracy and KAIZEN principles. You'll also handle stock relocations, produce weekly and monthly reports, and contribute to health and safety and

Qualifications

• Previous inventory/stock control experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
• Experience implementing improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of inventory/warehouse operations and KAIZEN principles.
• Strong communication and numerical skills.
• PC literacy with common office tools (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
• Strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock records and accuracy in a busy warehouse.
• Carry out regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain stock files, pallet checks, and support stocktakes.
• Respond to customer queries and assist with relocations.
• Produce weekly/monthly inventory reports and identify improvements.
• Maintain risk assessments and health/safety procedures.
• Support quality and safety through improved processes.
