Job summary

Yusen Logistics Northampton is seeking a Counterbalance Driver to support the smooth day-to-day running of our Northampton warehouse. You will operate MHE, load and unload trailers, and handle goods with care to minimise damage.

This full-time role requires adherence to H&S procedures, completion of paperwork, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Weekend work may be required, with a shift pattern 2:00pm–10:00pm.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• FLT licence (A2) or counterbalance/reach truck qualification.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE to support warehouse operations.
• Safely load and unload trailers and handle goods to minimise damage.
• Complete relevant paperwork and use automation systems.
• Adhere to H&S procedures and PPE.
• Identify process improvements and communicate issues to team leader.
