Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC), part of The Star Entertainment Group, seeks an IT Platform Engineering Lead to own and evolve our enterprise platforms across infrastructure, network, cloud and identity. You will shape architecture, standards and lifecycle strategy, working with the IT team to deliver a resilient, scalable environment.
The role focuses on governance, design authority and mentoring, with emphasis on documentation and repeatable patterns to reduce single‑point
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in information technology or a related field.
- Experience designing and managing enterprise technology platforms.
- Strong architecture, standards and governance capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own architecture across infrastructure, network and cloud platforms.
- Act as the technical design authority for platform changes.
- Establish standards, baselines and repeatable design patterns.
- Develop platform lifecycle strategies and roadmaps.
- Lead infrastructure design and procurement aligned to architecture.
- Drive platform resilience, security and performance.
