Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking Plant Operator/Labourers in Rockhampton to operate plant and equipment for water and sewer networks across the region. The role focuses on construction, maintenance, and operation, with experience in skid steers, excavators, and backhoes highly valued.

Applicants must hold an MR Licence and pass a Police Check. The team works across a supportive environment with full-time hours and competitive salary packages.

Responsabilidades

• Operate trucks and plant such as excavators, backhoes and skid steers.
• Carry out civil construction tasks including pipe laying and basic concreting.
• Maintain and repair water and sewer infrastructure, including hydrants, valves and mains.
• Perform basic servicing of equipment and report defects or safety issues.
• Work safely using hand tools while supporting a multi-skilled team.

• Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
• $77,483 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site) + Superannuation

Fitzroy River Water is recruiting multiple Plant Operator/Labourers to join our growing team. In this hands‑on role, you'll operate a range of plant and equipment while contributing to the construction, maintenance and operation of vital water and sewerage networks across the region.

If you're experienced in operating Skid Steers, Excavators and Backhoes, this is your opportunity to be part of a skilled crew delivering essential services that make a real difference every day.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What you’ll do
