Job summary

Job description

• Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
• $77,483 per annum ( LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site Allowance) + Superannuation
• Location – Gracemere

Looking for a role that gets you out from behind a desk and into the field?

As a Plant Operator / Labourer with our Rural Operations team, you’ll work across the region operating tractors and slashers, maintaining roadside vegetation and supporting a range of civil construction and road maintenance works. If you enjoy practical work, variety and being part of a hardworking team, this could be the role for you.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

• MR Class Driver Licence and White Card.
• Certificate of Competency to operate a pneumatic tyred tractor with powered attachment 35–110 KW.
• Experience operating and maintaining tractors/slashers, ideally in rural road maintenance or civil construction.
• Experience safely using small machinery, hand tools and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and WH&S procedures.
• A reliable team player who can communicate effectively and undertake physical outdoor work.
• Experience operating tractors/slashers in rural or remote environments will be highly regarded.
