Job summary

Prysmian Australia is seeking an HR Business Partner for Dee Why/Newington (multi-site). You will partner with leaders to align people strategies with business priorities, manage workforce needs, and foster a high-performing culture across production environments.

You’ll coach on recruitment, performance management and industrial relations, lead cyclical HR processes, and drive changes like automation. Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and strong HR policy knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Organisational Development or related field.
• Experience acting as HR Business Partner to a Plant Manager with generalist support.
• Experience handling operational HR responsibilities and partnering with production and support functions.
• Knowledge of HR systems, policies, practices and trends; Employment law expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coach leaders in recruitment, performance management, coaching and industrial relations issues.
• Lead cyclical HR processes (remuneration reviews, onboarding, offboarding) for rigour and impact.
• Identify and track people metrics; drive corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with employee stakeholder groups, including union and site reps.
• Lead people aspects of major organisational change (e.g., automation).
• Design and deliver interventions to improve performance, reduce risk and drive culture.
• Contribute to people impact discussions in business decision-making.
