Job summary

MADEC Australia is seeking a Placement Specialist for Post Placement Support in Victoria. You will identify and confirm employment placements for participants who found jobs, then connect with employers to ensure continued support and timely job starts.

You'll build rapport with employers, maintain accurate records, and coordinate handovers to ongoing support teams, while complying with program requirements and striving for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proactive caller with ability to build rapport over the phone.
• Confident in following up conversations and gathering information.
• Excellent record keeping and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, confirm and record employment placements for self-found job participants.
• Proactively contact participants and employers to confirm Job Start details.
• Build positive relationships with employers for Post Placement Support.
• Ensure placements are accurately recorded in MADEC systems.
• Introduce participants to available support to settle into employment.
• Coordinate smooth handover to Post Placement Support Officer for ongoing support.
• Collaborate with Job Coaches and Provider Payments Team to maximise opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure program compliance.
