Job summary

MADEC is seeking a proactive Post Placement Support Officer – Placement Specialist to join our Employment Services team. You’ll reach out to participants and employers, confirm job starts and connect employers to the Post Placement service, helping participants settle into and sustain their employment.

You don't need prior Employment Services experience; we value initiative, communication, and the ability to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• No prior Employment Services experience required.
• Proactive, organised and engaging in connecting with employers.
• Experience building relationships and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contacting participants and employers to confirm Job Start details.
• Building positive relationships with employers and connecting them to MADEC's Post Placement Support.
• Ensuring placements are recorded and anchored in systems.
• Introducing participants to available support for employment sustenance.
• Coordinating handover to Post Placement Support Officer.
• Working with Job Coaches and Provider Payments Team to maximise opportunities.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with program requirements.
