Job summary

MADEC is seeking a Placement Specialist - Post Placement Support to connect participants with employers and ensure ongoing support after job starts. The role emphasises proactive outreach, accurate record-keeping and collaboration with coaches and the payments team.

You'll follow up with employers to anchor placements in our systems and coordinate smooth handovers to the Post Placement Support Officer, helping participants sustain employment and achieve lasting success.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with participants and employers.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with follow-through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contacting participants and employers to confirm job starts.
• Build positive relationships with employers and connect them to the service.
• Ensure placements are recorded and anchored in our systems.
• Introduce participants to ongoing support to settle into employment.
• Coordinate handover to the Post Placement Support Officer for ongoing support.
• Collaborate with Job Coaches and Payments Team to maximise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure program compliance.
