You will be out in the field meeting customers, presenting quotations, negotiating pricing and closing sales while collaborating with internal teams to ensure outstanding service. This role offers autonomy and a clear path in a growing Australian steel business.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Business Development or industrial distribution sales.
• Proven ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
• Strong sales drive with a hands-on field approach.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across WA
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conducting regular customer visits and face-to-face meetings to strengthen partnerships.
• Understanding customer requirements and providing tailored steel product solutions.
• Preparing quotations, negotiating pricing and closing sales opportunities.
• Working closely with internal sales, operations and customer service teams to deliver outcomes.
• Managing and maintaining an active sales pipeline with follow-up and conversions.
• Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensuring customers receive high levels of service and communication.
• Contributing to growth, profitability and success of the business.
