Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Perth-based Human Resource Business Partner to become the trusted adviser to leaders across Australia, shaping people outcomes and managing complex employee matters.

Reporting into the People team, you'll lead employee relations, investigations, coaching and workforce development across blue and white-collar groups, with autonomy to influence culture and drive change.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role.
• Strong employee relations and workplace investigations experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and sensitive employee matters.
• Experience preparing investigation findings and recommendations.
• Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar workforces.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and coaching capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a broader HR team.
• Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, mining services, resources or related operational environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Managing employee relations matters including grievances, misconduct, performance management and workplace complaints
• Conducting workplace investigations and preparing investigation reports
• Facilitating mediation and conflict resolution processes
• Coaching managers on people-related challenges and best practice approaches
• Building trusted relationships with assigned business leaders through regular partnering meetings
• Supporting succession planning and workforce discussions
• Delivering leadership and professional development training programs
• Coordinating and supporting the organisation's graduate program
• Contributing to organisational change initiatives and people projects
• Partnering with stakeholders across Australia and the broader global HR function
