Job summary

City of Perth is recruiting an experienced HR professional to lead our people partnering and administration team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and sound judgement in workforce matters.

Reporting to the Manager People Services, you will partner with leaders, oversee case management and process improvements, and drive performance and employee lifecycle initiatives across the portfolio.

This full-time position is based in CBD Perth with salary $139,978 to $148,325 per annum, plus super.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in HR partnering and advisory services within a complex organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR professionals, manage competing priorities and address performance constructively.
• Strong experience managing complex employee relations matters, supported by sound knowledge of employment legislation and practical judgement.
• A track record of building trusted stakeholder relationships and delivering meaningful improvements to people processes and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team, setting priorities, balancing workloads and building accountability for service delivery.
• Provide practical, considered advice to leaders across your portfolio on workforce planning, performance and employee lifecycle matters.
• Oversee case management and people administration, supporting sound judgement, timely action and consistent outcomes; and
• Lead improvements that simplify processes, strengthen service quality and improve the experience of employees and leaders.
