Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a capable Generalist HR professional to provide day-to-day HR support across the business from Brisbane CBD with hybrid working arrangements. You will partner with managers to advise on people matters and help maintain a positive employee experience.

The role covers employee relations, performance conversations, recruitment support, onboarding and lifecycle activities, policy updates, reporting and HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a generalist HR role.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management and policies.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building.
• Exposure to recruitment, onboarding and lifecycle activities.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and employees.
• Assist with employee relations, including performance conversations, employee concerns, policy guidance, and workplace issues.
• Support recruitment activities from briefing through to onboarding new employees.
• Partner with leaders to provide practical advice and coaching on people management matters.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, contract variations, and other employee lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure employee documentation is up to date.
• Assist with the review and update of HR policies, procedures, and templates.
• Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support across HR initiatives and projects.
• Help coordinate training, development, and employee engagement activities.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and provide a responsive, solutions-focused HR service.
