Wood Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer for a permanent role in Western Australia. You will process supplier invoices, match them to POs and receipts, and prepare payments while maintaining accurate records.

The position involves month-end tasks, reconciling statements, and handling supplier inquiries in a collaborative finance team. Ideal candidates will have prior AP experience, sharp attention to detail, and familiarity with MYOB/Xero/SAP/Pronto; intermediate Excel and strong

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Sound understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles
• Experience with MYOB, Xero, SAP or Pronto is advantageous
• Intermediate Excel skills and strong organisational abilities

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and within required timeframes
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery receipts
• Preparing and assisting with payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
• Managing supplier enquiries and maintaining professional relationships
• Processing employee expense claims
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Assisting with month-end processes, including reporting and reconciliations
• Providing administrative support to the wider finance team
• Ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures and policies
