Job summary

Western Work Force is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in Redcliffe, Queensland. You will provide transactional finance support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reconciliations, and internal reporting, with backup payroll support when required.

The role requires 2+ years in AP/AR, solid Excel skills, and experience with MYOB Acumatica. Immediate start, Monday–Friday hours, and a competitive hourly rate are on offer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable position.
• Strong understanding of transactional finance processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using MYOB Acumatica.

Job description

Western Work Force are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our client, based in Redcliffe.

The successful candidate will provide transactional finance support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reconciliations and internal reporting, while also providing backup support for payroll when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices in line with Procure-to-Pay procedures
• Reconcile supplier accounts and assist with payment runs
• Manage employee reimbursements and credit card reconciliations
• Generate and submit debtor invoices through client portals
• Upload invoices to NAB IFF and reconcile facility data
• Monitor debtor ageing and follow up outstanding accounts
• Process receipt allocations and maintain accurate AR records
• Complete bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and system entries
• Prepare routine and ad hoc financial reports
• Support internal financial controls, compliance and audit requirements
• Assist with ERP and business software administration
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Provide backup support for payroll when required
• Work closely with the Financial Accountant and Financial Controller on allocated tasks

About You:

• 2+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable position
• Strong understanding of transactional finance processes
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using MYOB Acumatica
