Job summary

Warrikal Pty in West Perth is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team. This hands-on role supports day-to-day accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate records and timely supplier and customer service.

You will contribute to month-end close, reconciliations and drive continuous improvement across finance processes. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years in accounts or finance and proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience in accounts or finance role.
• Experience across Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately code supplier invoices, ensuring correct matching to purchase orders and receipts.
• Maintain vendor accounts and prepare payment runs in line with Warrikal’s payment terms.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, purchase order, billing and account discrepancies, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Generate and issue customer invoices in line with contractual and project requirements.
• Allocate and receipt customer payments, maintain accurate account records and monitor outstanding balances.
• Follow up overdue accounts and support debtor ageing and collection reporting.
• Assist with month-end activities, including AP and AR reconciliations, accruals and close processes.
• Support employee expense reconciliations, finance queries, process improvements and other ad-hoc finance activities.
