Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will support daily living activities and work closely with nurses and the care team to ensure comfort and safety.

Shifts are varied to support work-life balance, with above award rates and penalties where applicable, and paid training days to foster professional development and recognition within a supportive

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team

About The Role
