Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Personal Support Worker in Australia to deliver high‑quality personal, emotional and social care that enhances residents’ dignity and wellbeing. $36.23 p/h + Super + Shift Penalties (where applicable). Shift patterns include Saturday–Tuesday 15:00–21:00 or Friday–Sunday AM shifts.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
