Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Personal Support Worker in Adelaide to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity and wellbeing. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and documentation, all within a supportive team-focused environment.

Experience in aged care and a Certificate III in Individual Support are preferred; Australian Working Rights and a willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.
