Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker in Maroochydore to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and documentation while working closely with nurses and the care team in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent required.
• Strong passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate and adaptable team player.
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing and grooming).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring health changes and reporting them to the care team.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with nurses and the broader care team.

About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• Passion for aged care and helping others
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude
• Dementia Care Experience
