Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker in Melbourne to provide high-quality personal, emotional and social care that enhances residents’ dignity and wellbeing. You will assist with daily living tasks and support mobility within a team of nurses and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated passion for aged care and helping residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care to residents.
• Assist with personal care tasks (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfers, and meals, respecting dietary needs.
• Monitor health/behavior changes and report them.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with nurses.

About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
